CHS 65 – More news here...

10/7/05

Stragglers:  If for some reason you didn't get the invitation and haven't spoken with anyone, call me or someone else on the committee.  We can squeeze you in, and we'd love to have you.

Parking Permits:  Free parking is available at Washington U.  The police will ticket your car unless you have a parking permit.  Stop in the front door of the Knight Center to pick up your permit, and then pull in the garage to park.

Alumni AssociationBarbeque and Homecoming Football game:  It's homecoming weekend, and there's an optional football game and alumni association barbeque before the game.  Traditionally it is held at Gay Field and later in the day. Unfortunately, due to construction at Gay Field it will be held this year at Concordia.  This is where CBC use to be on Clayton Road near Demun, across from Esquire Theatre.

The game starts at noon.  The alumni association meeting begins at 10:00am to discuss the future of the association, goals, funding, etc., and the barbeque will follow.  Drop in at anytime.

Tour of the school:  Unfortunately there will be no school tour on Saturday, because of the change in the football schedule personnel are not available to provide the tour.

Hotels:  Hotel rooms in Clayton are no longer available except for one of our classmates who may have booked an extra.  I also have one night available at the Knight Center at Washington U, for Saturday night only.  If you need a room, call Jim.

Photos:  I'm very interested in receiving photos that I can scan.  If you have snapshots or other photos, please bring them with you.  Thanks!

Profiles:  If you haven't submitted your profile yet please go to the the private part of the web page and click on the "Profiles" link.  Fill in the word document that is attached, and you may download from the website and email to me at eidelman@lawtech.com.  Also, if you have some digital photos, paste them into the document or you may also send as an attachment.

It will be great to see everyone!!  Call with any questions.  (For those who are unable to make it hope you can make it next time, and we will be thinking of you.)

05/31/05 -- The "Save-the-Date" letter should be in the mail if we have your address.  Excitement is building, and we look forward to hearing from more of you!

1/27/05: It's Official:  The Reunion will be CHS Homecoming Weekend, October 8, and the Sat. night celebration will be at the beautiful Knight Center at Washington U!

September, 04 -- Had lunch with Julian Hess and Anita Rubin Dunaway.  Anita has the database of addresses from last time, and has been trying to get additional info by logging onto www.Classmates.com, etc.  I have her database, somewhat updated, on the private web page (instructions below).  Julian is working on finding a date and location that will work well.  Stay tuned for more info!

11-09-04 -- Over the last couple of weeks I had very nice emails from Ellen Levey Fischer and Bob Orf.  Ellen will definitely be there for the reunion, and was excited about reconnecting with the old gang.  Bob lives near Springfield, MO, where he announces Division 2 College football and basketball, so he may have a game the weekend of the reunion, but he'll try to make it, and probably will be able to arrange it.
10-5-04 -- Rocco Landesman came in for the Cards vs. Dodgers playoff game, and I enjoyed both going to the game and playing stickball at Meramec school with Rocco, Mike Eastman, and some non-CHS friends.  Mike continued to have a good fastball, and is doing very well, working on a photo book of America.  He just returned from a shoot in California, and it sounds very exciting.  More on Rocco later...

10-9-04 -- Had breakfast with Wendy Gold Beren, who was visiting St. Louis with her sister and mother, along with Jan Keightley Gianoulakas and Mary Beth Goralnik Mohrman.  All are planning to attend the reunion, and excited about it.  (Click on picture to zoom in.  Standing are my brother, David, Wendy's sister Leslie, and Allyn Pressberg, all from the Class of 62.)

For name and address info about classmates, including emails... it's very much a work in progress at this point, go to www.clayton65.com/private.  This is a password-protected web page that people cannot find by searching google, etc.  For the login and password: For login use the first name and for password use the last name of our principal or the swimming coach.  (No capital letters!)  If you can't remember who they were, then contact Jim Eidelman for the password.
